Dear Llama Owners,

RE: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Just a short note to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and to thank all of you for your support of the ILR this past year. As has always been the case, the vast majority of llama owners are a true joy to work with – even when things go wrong.

We have been working our way through the results of the survey and want to thank those of you who responded. As expected, your responses varied widely, which only emphasizes the challenges we face here in trying to provide services to a members who often have vastly different interests and expectations. We are in the process of developing goals for 2007 and encourage you to let us know if you have suggestions that will help us meet the challenges of the future. If you will be on the cruise, we look forward to talking with you and getting your input there.

Although, as I mentioned earlier, we are still in the planning stages for 2007 goals, we remain committed to working to make the registration process as simple and straightforward as we can. Look for the ability to register your cria online – even if you were not the owner of the dam and/or sire at the time of conception!

In addition, we plan to put together a “bundle” of advertising opportunities within the ILR publications and web site that will enable you to advertise in a variety of ways at a substantial discount compared to paying for each individually.

After the conference, we will finalize our goals and pass them on to you. If you miss those communications, just watch the web site – you will see the changes there.
